4. Ist die rote Farbe des Markierstifts (CD-R PEN) ein Farbstoff?
(Seite
im Aufbau)
Farbstoffe
sind farbige Stoff, der von einem anderen Stoff wie z. B. einem Kleider-Stoff
oder einer Faser dauerhaft gebunden wird. Dies geschieht in der Regel
aus einer Lösung.
Im vorigen
Experiment a coloured solution was left (Fig. 2). In the following experiment
you will answer the question: Is it permanently bonded by fabrics, does it
contain a dye?
You have to cut a strip from a
Multifiber6 (MF6) which contains 6 different fabrics. In addition you use
a piece of white washed wool from a sheep and cotton thread and boil it in
the solution.
.
.
Materials
White washed sheep wool, cotton
thread, a stripe of multifiber 6 (Fig. 1), 5-mL injection bottle with the
coloured solution from the previous experiment (Fig. 2), electric hot plate.
Experiment
1. Immerse the white samples (Fig.
1) into the ampoules with the coloured water (Fig. 2).
2. Boil them for 1 hour.
3. Wash the samples and boil them
in clean water.
4. Remove the samples, dry and
fix them on a surface (Fig. 3).
Observation(Fig.
3)
1. The cotton thread and the following
substances on the strip of MF6 keep white: cotton and polyester.
2. The wool and the following
substances on the strip of MF6 are permanently dyed: wool, triacetate, nylon,
polyacryl.
Explanation
The coloured red substance from
the CD-R PEN is a dye for wool, triacetate, nylon- and polyacryl fibres
as it was permanently bonded like in the Experiment
