The idea of microscale chemistry experimentation
using vials, dropper bottles and syringes goes back to Professor M.
K. El-Marsafy.
End of the eighties
he introduced these worldwide available materials for pre-service teacher
training and education at Ain Shams University Cairo. Thousands of
young Egyptian students learned how to teach chemistry starting by practical
work.
Advantages
of Microscale Chemistry Experimentation:
1. less
chemicals, 2. less
waste,
3. less
space,
4. more
safety,
5. less
costs,
6. materials
easy to find, 7. working
at home, 8. own
portable lab for school preparation.
