Fo13 Life starts by an egg

The barley for our bread, the potato for the cooking pot and the egg for breakfast are more than our food:
They have the power to develop and form a new barley plant, a potato plant, and a chicken.
For developing an egg the hen needs a cock only.
* On the farm a hen will build a nest, collect the eggs, and  keep them warm and humid under her body for 21 days.
* Breeding can also take place in an incubator at a temperature of 38°C.
* Left: If an egg breaks at the fourth day of breading you will recognize a net of fine  blood vessels. In their center the embryo can be seen. More than half of it is the head.
* Middle: Usually the chicken will open the egg at day Nr. 21 (using its sharp egg tooth on  the bill). Behind the bill the first small feathers can be seen.
* Right: A short time later the chicken leaves the egg. When the feathers are dry it stands up.
