6.  Syringes as microscale measuring cylinders: Density of aluminium
* Remove the piston of a 1-ml syringe.
* Heat the nozzle carefully until it is soft.
* Close the syringe by pressing the soft plastic
   with tongues.
* Half-fill the self-made measuring cylinder by coloured water,
* read the volume (photo: 0.6 ml)
* Add pieces of aluminium wire to the water.
* Read the volume of water replaced by the metal (photo: 0.82 - 0.60 ml).
