Beads
and cubes made of beads as models of salt particles and a NaCl crystal
lattice

in the shape of cubes are left when sea water is
dried up.

Sodium particles
repel each other due to their like charge, so do chloride particles.

and chloride particles attract each other due to their unlike charge
