sea salt and 3 ml Dead
Sea salt (available in pharmacies) into the cylinders of
two 5-ml syringes.

Mix 3 ml of each salt with 3 ml water:Wasser. Observation
: 3 ml + 3 ml result in 5 ml mixture.
Gas bubbles rise between the salt crystals.
* Photo 4: Most of
the Dead Sea salt dissolves,
half of the sea salt does
not dissolve.
* Right: The scale
was balanced with equal amounts of sea salt
(or
Dead Sea salt) on the left
scale and salt from the kitchen
on the right one.
The
salts from the sea and from the Dead Sea absorb water vapour from the air.
