* Left: Train to press
only one single water drop out of your syringe. * Hold the drop as close
as possible to your eye. Oberserve: The world behind the drops is upwards
down.
* Middle: Transfer
drops on a black plastic surface with some grains of salt, sugar, citric
acid.
(If you like you
can also take some grains from inside a baby nappy and add drops of water).
* Right: Sugar and
citric acid have disappeared in water, * a few residues remained from my
sample of table salt. Nappy grains can take more than three drops of water
forming a jelly.
Remember
: The disappearing of sugar and citric acid in water is called
dissolving.
